Brembos or ATE's

Brembos or ATE's

Postby pa06solara » Mon Mar 01, 2010 9:08 pm

I have 135k on the factory front rotors ('06 V6 SE) and they are finally due for replacement. Tire Rack has Brembos and ATE's available. I had factory Brembos on my '01 Cobra and I was really pleased with them (the hub and the vents didn't rust like the Ford rear units did), but I haven't heard much about ATE's. Anyone try either of these? Also any thoughts on pads? I got 80k from the original Toyota set and I have about 55k on my second Toyota set. I'm not that concerned about high performance, rather than durability - most of my traveling is highway miles. Your thoughts?

Hopefully getting my brakes done on both axles this weekend. I'm going for the usual autostore-bought ceramic pads and typical autostore-bought rotors. I wanted slotted and drilled rotors until I saw the prices.
