You need new bulbs. If power gets to them, but not through them, they're burned out.
Trust me, I'm a technician.

fog loght not working

Postby 5speed » Mon Mar 22, 2010 12:17 pm

the bad news is that i just replaced the whole fog light ficture and bulbs ..
so i know that the blub is good.
the thing is i also replaced the fuse (located under the hood)with new ones so i know thoses are also good . but when i place a test light onto the new fuse it had no power to it, i then took out the fuse and placed the test light into the main port where the i took the fuse out from, and thats when i noticed its was not the fuse that was bad.its because there is no power flowing to the fuse box for the 2 fuse need to power on the fog light. so what i was hoping o find out is there another fuse box somewhere else in the car or is there a fog llight relay.i dont know what to do. fustration is kicking in.
brand new hid kit and i cant use it....
thanks for all your help and advice.......

i know there is a fuse box in the pull out box thing to the bottom left of the steering wheel. you just pull that thing out and there are a bunch of fuses

Edit- i dont know if you have one of those things in your gen 2 but check the manual thats how i replaced my fuses.

basically you're gonna have to go chasing wires and find the last source of power

Is it possible the harnesses weren't plugged back in?
