Headlight tint questions

My headlights are starting to get glazed over at the very top of it, and im assuming after it starts it will get worse quickly.

I got my Solara summer of 2006, and its been garage kept since day 1, which is quite annoying for the lights to already be fading, as my car is only outside from 6:50-2:15 while im at school, any other time the Solara is out of the garage it is typically night.

So instead of having to constantly sand my headlights and stuff in the future, I figured I could tint the headlights now to prevent them from getting worse, and you can only notice it if your looking for it now.

So what is a good site to order from? I want a light smoke look for my headlights and foglights.

Google lead me to this site: http://www.rvinyl.com/headlight_protect ... a_2004.htm
it has a "protection film" in light smoke, but im not sure if it would include the foglight tint, and they arent answering their phones in the middle of a weekday...

I figure tinting the headlights will not only be cheaper than that, but I have been wanting them tinted for a while anyways.

I just called a local customization shop that does really good work, they want 300 dollars PER car (doing the Solara and the Yukon).

Not happening...

But heres the type of work they do, they made about $300,000 off my friends F-150 (below) and plenty more off his other cars.

ya it does but my goal is to stop my headlight housing from fading. And it is alot easier this way to black it out.

What portion of your lights are hazed? If it is the front portion try Meguairs. Because if you don't get rid of the hazed section before you tint, you're still going to see the damage when your lights are on. If it is just on the top portion I'd say go for viny eyelids in solid gloss black.

That FL sun is pretty intense so I'm not surprised a car sitting outside everyday around noon down there would have its lenses haze.

It is just a small part of the top portion, its barely there. My Solara convertible is hazing all over, thats why I want the headlight tint and not an eyelid.

Just use meguirs bro. I've been using this stuff for a while and it's kept my head lights looking good. Plus this stuff lasts a while and it's really inexpensive.
