Which wheels?

Which wheels?

Postby SoSleek » Mon May 17, 2010 11:35 am

I have a black 2004 Solara SE Sport. The look I am going for is a luxury sport look. This car is my daily driver, and it's never going to be modded for performance, but rather for cruising and will have an extreme audio system. I may lower on TRD springs on my stock struts, but that will be decided once the wheels are installed. Please vote based on the look I am going for. Both are a 20x8.5 flush face/concaved 5 spoke wheels design. I like simple, but wanted something that is a bit different at the same time.

Thanks for your vote!

I would go with the Giovanna rims. Chrome rims aren't my style but like I said I would chose the first one.

The Giovannis are beautiful.

You won't get much love for chrome on this board, but chrome and black is always right. :D

Exactly, and that does play a definite role in the decision for me too. Not all chromes hold up the same. As far as the styles of the two, which do you think is best?

I pick the Giovanna's cause of it's reputation and quality. I know they will last a long time just be careful where you park your car though.

What's a baller? Is it a good thing or a bad? OK, disregard the second question because that's a matter of opinion, and I'll decide for myself, so What's a baller? BTW, I like the simplicity of the second wheel over all those little rivets in the first one.
