I know i prob asked this in the past but i have been gone for a while since i have had personal matters to attend too.I was doing research on the k&n sri and the injen sri.I know the injen can be converted to a Cold air intake but i have not been able to find anything about that with the k&n.I do not know if it would be that beneficial to have a cold air since i have a L4 engine.Opinions?

There are 2 Injen sri intakes for your car, #1) SP2026

, and

#2) IS2025 Image.

Short ram intakes will be safer, less chance of hydro-locking. The benefits of either of intake types over one another are minimal at best.

Tacti's old Solara has the IS2025 but he had a custom piping done to make his short ram intake into a cold air intake.

I haven't seen any Solara owners make a cai out of a K&N sri so far so I can't tell you.

There is no sound difference between the IS2025 and SP2026.

I think the Injen SP2026P is better because it is farther away from the engine than the IS2025, less heat going on around there.
