Gauging interest in GLP Motorsports 3mz-fe MP90 Supercharger

Heys guys hows it going. Any members here interested in a bolt on supercharger kit for their 3mz-fe vvt-i solara? If there is interest I can modify my MP90 1mz-fe non vvti supercharger kit i already make to work for the gen 2 3mz guys. I am currently researching to see if i can source an affordable piggyback computer to control fuel, timing, and vvti.

If anyone in the northeast is interested and would be willing to drop off their car to me for a month or so I can give you a good price on kit.

questions, comments,concerns? Shoot away.

thanks

Gabe

That would be amazing. I've got to start putting money aside, no funds right now.

i wish i could commit, but i got a long road to go before i could free up enough funds for it. I know talk is cheap, but if the option were available, i'd really consider it. thanks for remembering us!

i have forged pistons available for this engine as well. I have an adaptor plate all ready to go so you guys can bolt your OEM throttle body to the inlet of my MP90 1mz blower kit.

:infinity:

Sounds sweet if you can keep the OEM throttle body... however, I wonder about fuel management.

Also, are you talking about low-compression forged pistons?

Things for us gen2'ers are a lot more than things for y'all! Look at the bodykits. Your kits cost $6-700 for the set, ours run well over $1k. JPP header - you guys sell em for 200 bucks but there's only 2 JPP header sets for us in existence (GzNutz has one) and those run about 4 times as much, not counting all the R&D and tuning that goes into it. Now these blowers... a fine masterpiece of art... would run me more than half the value of my car.

Trust, I wish I had the funds to justify such a spending, and even live on the east coast! I'd love to be Gabe's prototype to work on such a project. Contentment is a hard lesson to learn...

have you gen 2 guys ever tried the $350 1mz obx headers before? I have installed those on gen 2 3mz solaras with minor modification from what i can remember.

tuning would be simple. i make a plug and pay harness for your cars that plugs in to the greddy emanage ultimate. you can pick those up for around $500 complete. Its a really nice unit i can raise rev limiter on your solaras with it too :)

$3800 for a complete MP90 kit. That comes with bigger injectors and walbro 255 pump. You need to buy your own computer to tune i highly suggest emanage ultimate. If one of you brings me your car i will install all your mods including the supercharger, fuel system, exhaust, whatever, all for FREE. You will be getting around 2k in labor for free. I only need the car for 2-3 days tops. You will have to cut your hood for clearance. I suggest having a reputable body shop perform the work.

you would have to bring me the car so i can do any modding to the y pipe because i just cant quite remember what i had to do. but they do work. and for $350 and little to no modification :)

come on guys someone bring me a gen 2 solara to prototype some parts off of. FREE LABOR. I want to start getting into the gen 2 crowd.

I'm located 90 miles north of Boston.
