I wouldn't use a 5s trans instead of a 1mz trans. My camry use to be a 4cly auto.

You can always just buy a turbo kit made for the first generation Scion TC, that would be a much cheaper option and better as well because the 2az-fe have a lot of aftermarket support thanks to the Scion TC.
