i got a quote from www.trenz.com of $285 for top piece....

hopefully this guy will have one much cheaper, although the Trenz grilles look good!

Oh my!
I'm liking the upper grille replacement from Trenz very much. However, for $285 is way too much. The same grille from Trenz for my '03 Altima is only going to cost $199.99, with free shipping.

I'm sorry, but they're asking for way too much. I can't find the grille available on Trenz's site. Hit us up with the link if you can.
I'm still not a fan of the lower grille insert. I still like my mesh chrome look much better and it compliments the car. But, to each their own. Not trying trying to hate, I very much like Trenz products.
Well, back to the drawing board for my upper grille replacement and trust me, it's not where near the price of $285...lol all the way to my car.

Here's the way I see it. I'm glad that the aftermarket industries are getting on the ball for the 04 Solaras. That was my main objective in the first place; just trying to get peeps to get stuff on the market for the 04 Solaras.

Hey guys...think if I say that I'm working on a supercharger for the 04 Solaras; you think that TRD and other companies might get the ball rolling as well???

Peace,
Michael

I've seen a lot of those grills on Altimas lately. Looks good, but IMO I still like Michael's. I like the mesh look better than than billet on the Solara. I'm glad to see that pic, to clear any ideas of changing. $285 is just way to much, but I'd pay that for both the top and bottom. I can't wait till Michael finishes the top!!!!!

DAAAAAAAAAMN! That Trenz one is out of control! Sh*t, i cant wait for this other company to come out with it, because itll hopefully be a lot cheaper...although trenz makes very quality products its still not worth that much money. Damn though, the 2 grills together just set this car totally apart!!

Blazed04 wrote:I also got my billet gill in the other day. I like it alot too! The quality is pretty good (i think) and i would definitely order from this company again when they come out with the upper grill. It literally takes 5 minutes to install. I would post pics but it seems that jesse has it covered. I have the same color car so just use your imagination.

Just to revive this... what did the installation include? is it just the zip ties?

1. Has anyone else besides Jesse789 purchase the Ebay grille?
2. How long does it take to install and what's it made of?
3. How about maintenance on the grille?
4. What's the final cost?
5. How long did you have to wait from the date of purchase to the date it was delivered?

---just a bit curious...

Thanks,
Michael

DANG!!! Can't beat that...haha. Wait til the upper grille is released with the emblem. A perfect combo set for only $$$...TBD.

:o I am so tempted to buy that TRENZ grill...but the price is just too high. Rather put that $$ twards rims Once that TRENZ grill gets priced realistically its on.

Hm... cool (with the emblem)... even though I'm not that fond of the mesh, I'm gonna wait for yours to be done before I make a final decision :)
