i purchased it also. i photoshopped it on my car 1st just to see how it would look before i actually bought it & i really liked it so i went ahead with the buy. if u check the guys feedback everyone seems very happy with his products. and supposedly they are in the process of working on designs for the upper grill which they said might take a little while to release.

yeah i tried making my own upper the other day... dremeling all the bars out and then keeping the middle section. worked ok... but i would have to mold it a bit to smooth it out and then have it painted (but i gave up). i'm going to have it painted at a shop either black or matching silver... (since i got a ding in my rear that needs to be fixed anyways). but i think i'm just going to wait for he matching billet grille.

Sorry for the no show so far...

Postby michaels artic frost » Mon May 24, 2004 8:04 pm

Sorry to hear that. I'm sure it will be in soon.
The others that had purchased my custom chrome grille insert received theirs within 2-3 days after I received their payment via paypal. I shipped the item on Thursday and they received it on Saturday morning.
Sorry that you have not received your products and hope that you receive them soon. Did they give you a tracking number? I gave my buyers tracking numbers.

Good luck! :D

OK, this seems as good a thread to post this question as any... so... I'm thinking about getting either one of the grills for my solara. I was just wondering if these things are easy to paint? Or if there's any type of paint (spray paint?) that is easy to apply and at least kinda looks like the Black Pearl Emblems (a black gloss paint, maybe?)

I have a Cosmic Blue Metallic Solara with the dark interior... about to get the Black Pearl Emblems and Black License Plate Frames... I think the black grill would look really slick with that combo... (as opposed to the silver)...

Oh yeah, more (larger) pics! Tried searching on cardomain for your car, but can't seem to find the right one...
