Ok so, I have read about what you guys said about these two products, but I don't have enough money to buy both of them. So which one should I go with? I live in MN so im not so sure about the lowering springs when the snow comes, and curbing, but I would like a stiffer ride. Is the rear sway bar gonna make enough difference, or should I just go with the springs?

i don't have the RSB, but i think that if you get springs you should get struts at the same time (stocks will wear quickly and save on install $100-$400 depending on where you go and who you know), so if you're short on dough then you probably should go with the TRD RSB and install can be DIY...or $50.

i would say go for lowering first.

save up for both struts and springs.

but what are you looking more for?

lowered car or

more stability?

this wouldnt be a problem if you have enough $$ to be lowered and have more stability.

What model solara do you have ? My first upgrade I did the springs and TRD told me I didn't have to do the struts as the sport model already had struts that would support the springs.

I've installed both the TRD Springs, and the TRD RSB. The handling is so much better and fun too.

How much??? Parts and labor? Did you have Toyota do it?

BTW, I heard that Koni was in development for the '04 aftermarket shocks. But, like cydog stated, the SE Sport has a sport-tuned suspension. If you have the funds and the opportunity to drop your '04, do it. It makes it look that much better.

That's the only reason why I haven't chosen a non-dealer servicer to install the TRD springs and RSB. On the flipside, you got a really good deal on the labor.

I contacted a local Toyota and they told quoted me $800-900 for labor to install the TRD lowering springs. I told the were full of it and they didn't know what they were talking about. I called another local dealership and they didn't know either. So I called Toyota of Goldsboro (ToyoGobo) http://stores.ebay.com/ToyoGobo_W0QQsspagenameZl2QQtZkm in NC and they quoted me $600 for installing TRD lowering springs. That's outrageous...if I do get them. I'm going to have to save some more money.

Anyone want to buy some grilles???lol :drinking:

Well, I got my RSB installed for $10 so if something occurs someday I just pay $10 more and put back the OEM bar for warranty.

Michael, Toyogobo is a very nice dealer, I have bought from them (on-line) a couple of times and also on Ebay. Problem is that Toyota Dealers will quote for labor hours and it will be about that cost in any dealer you choose.

For me the Lowerer springs were about $100 to install them and $40 to Re-Align car, of course, not in a Dealer.
