I've never seen yellow headlights before. I would think it's illegal.

hmm...

it does not violate any emergency vehicle car lights (red/blue), so i would think it would be ok.

pop in the bulbs and follow bike cops near sundown w/ the headlights on. see if that draws any attention to them.

I would think the yellow bulb would be nice as fog light (kinda like the Lex's) Also rear turn signals are 3156 and front are 3457.

the yellow is not as yellow as you think
if you want is yellow you need to mod it.

If you want bright headlights, with a little modification you can fit a 9005 in the 9006 socket. The 9005's are uncapped at the tip and have 65 watts instead of 55. They throw out more lumens (1700 vs. 1000). I would only use yellow lights for your fogs, if at all.
