are you sure it doesn't fit? i notice that tokico uses the same struts for camry & solara

Yes Tokico may have the same part number but OEM has different size and part number. OEM Solara ones are shorter then Camry one.

i was told the suspension on 98+ camry are identical to solaras, maybe your buddy have a 97 camry?

They might have aftermarket parts that share but not OEM.

Yeah Yeah. So my buddy took Solara struts to the installer and after taking the ish appart he realized they would not fit in his Camry because they are too short costing him $150. I then called up Toyota to make sure the installer was not pulling my chain and Toyota then turned around and confirmed that they have two different part numbers for the struts.
