As the title says, I'm looking to buy a safcII for my soon to be newly installed supercharger...I was looking hard at the neo, but it appears to not have the knock sensor alarm, which I surely will need.

Preferrably, I would like a black unit...but, let me know if anyone has one for sale or knows of some good deals out there.

can anyone confirm if it has the knock sensor alarm because i'm actually looking to get an safc neo but if the safc 2 is better to go with for our application then i just might get that one.

The regular one doesnt have a knock sensor alarm. It display the knock sensor readings but its also pretty in accurate. So If the neo display the knock then go ahead and grab it.

from my research, the safc II does have the knock alarm and the neo does not...

yes, I saw kirby's post, but for a used unit the price will need to be negotiated. I currently can get a gently used black safcII for $150, which seems to be a pretty fair deal.
