Install is pretty simple compared to a S/C install...

You have to connect it to a 12v source, and a ground of course. Then you will need to cut tap each of the wires that go to the coils.. (6 wires)... then find a place to mount the MSD.

you can use it on an auto... bascially what the MSD does is amps the signal/voltage to the spark plug, and has generates a spark that is much more powerful than the stock ignition system... it basically insures that all of the fuel is being ignited, making more power... The reason this is such a plus for supercharged people is that when the supercharger crams air into the cylinder, it creates a swirling effect, and makes it so the stock ignition system isn't as good anymore.. this MSD ignition insures that the fuel is being ignited...

Also, you can set a rev-limiter on the MSD, as well as setup a staging RPM, so you can Floor the pedal, and the msd only lets it ramp the rpm's up to a certain signal, till you flip the switch to allow the MSD to rev the motor higher... I never used the staging settings, but the effects of the MSD were definitally felt using my larger injectors and the IK22's

I can also type up what wires (colors) go to which wires on the MSD... its pretty simple
