WTB Manual Gauge Cluster

Im in a bit of a pickle- I dicked up the wiring on my gauges and they drew too much power, so I think something may have shorted out. The gas gauge and temp gauge work but not the speedo, tach, or odometer. Im curious to know if its the cluster itself or something in the wiring. If someone would be willing to hook me up with a manual v6 cluster for cheap that would be AWESOME! let me know if anyone has anything, thanks guys!

I happen to have an extra cluster. I got it off of Ebay.

I bought it so that I could get custom faces made.

I think I paid $85 for it. I strongly encourage you to check ebay. They pop up every once in a while. Especially because of the silver Solara curse. Solaras end up in junk yards and they sell the parts on ebay.

Keep checking ebay for a couple days. If you really really gotta have it now, I may be persuaded to sell mine. Mind you, I dont want to sell it, but if you are truly in a pickle, I may be convinced to part with it.

yeah thanks for the advice quick, i will resort to ebay if i have to... It would be nice to have one just to try it to see if it works. I really dont want to spend the money on one right now, especially if i dont need it. Thats why i wondered if anyone had a spare theyd be willing to bum me...

Im going to try to find the short and mess with fuses thursday and see if i cant figure it out. really hoping its still a fuse or something and not the entire cluster. I just dont want to drive without recording the mileage!

Your ECU is still recording your mileage.

The ECU and gage cluster both record mileage. The cluster can always be updated. The ECU is tamper proof.
Just take it to a dealer and they can always match the two.

Sorry pal. Maybe if we lived closer to each other, but really, I don't know you. I paid a lot of money for it and I'd hate to lose it.

Like I said, I may be convinced to sell it if you really really really need it, but I can't rent it out. Sorry.
