Hey guys,
Selling a used Dats y-pipe. I bought this from hskrsolara who had the flex section fixed, so it should bolt right up. After I bought this I remembered why I didn't get one before - I have cali spec headers  So, anyone with federal spec headers this would be a great upgrade. This is just taking up space in my room, so hoping for fast sale - $150 shipped. If anyone needs pictures I can post some in a day or two. Thanks!

Looks like I've got a small head gasket leak on the rear cylinder head, so I'm planning on getting the OBX setup installed when I have that repaired. BTW, anyone have any idea how much it should cost to replace the rear head gasket?

alot

Postby NRDriver » Wed Sep 23, 2009 5:56 pm

alot. lol. your lookin at 8.1 hours plus about 250 in parts and machining, etc.
at 80$ an hour thats 650$ in labor. since you are doing the headgasket you will probably be asked if you wanna do your water pump, timing belt, crank seal, cam seals, since your in there. also, you will be recommended to do both headgaskets since your in there.

i would say probably 1200 minimum. 2300 with everything done.

im just a mechanic and dont really do numbers but you should post up the quote you get and i can ask my service writer what he thinks

Thanks for the reply. $2300, ouch :-? That'd pretty much be a 5spd swap... I'll have to have my mechanic double check and show exactly where it's leaking.

California manifolds have pre-cats and federal don't. So, it'll fit stock manifolds if you have the federal setup.
