I am trying to gather an interested on the 5sfe motor. I will soon start mass production of CAI's for this motor. The Price will be $125 which includes the following:

The intake piping
Clamps/Couplers
And an air filter

If anyone is interested, let me know. Camry or solara 5sfe motors, from camrys 92-01 5sfe's and solara's 99-01 5sfe motors.

Here are the pics: Sorry it took so long.

Come on now Dave what kind of questions are those. Haha, well it is a complete cai intake system from the TB all the way down to the fender.
If you need picture of how it will look:

Very similar to what you see on my cardomain. My 94 not my V6 Solara.

The 02-03 I4 2.4L is the 2azfe. Same questions though, could this be modified or any plans to make one for the 02-03 I4 platform?

Hey Calvin,

Nice to see you moved up to a Solara.

Would the company your going thru to make these Intake be willing to make a Extension pipe like RJ's for the 2az engine with injen intake. If so I would be interested in finding out prices and how many orders we need to get this into production.

I've seen RJ's Extension before and the fitment isn't that great for us i-4 guys with the 2az.

Hit me up with a PM or you can ask Dave for my phone # to give me a call.

Thanks

Kenny

Thanks for the interests, however at the moment I am at the early stage of building intakes just for the 5sfe. As for the 2az engine extensions I will look into it shortly and do some experimenting. I haven't had the chance to test an intake project on that particular just yet. So you guys will have to wait for the time being.

Is there someone who is able to post a pic of how the Injen short ram looks like on the 2az motor? That would be helpful and give me an idea on how to start.

P.S. For those who want to get intakes for the 5sfe motor, it will be about two weeks. Because I am making them myself, bending and everything.

Thanks,
Calvin

How long will this offer be valid for? I'm really low on cash (medical bills), so wanted to know if this is something that will be available around nov-dec??

This will be avaliable whenever, I will only build them when people ask for it. Cause its pretty much my own project. However, I just want to add , which forgot to mention. This intake kit will have NO sensor holes for the two air/temp sensors. But I have tested it on a friend's 99 solara like I said before and on my 94 5sfe cam. There were NO problems nor was there an CEL light present. The cars actually ran a lot better because there was completely no restriction. But I cannot guarantee they will pass CA emissions or any other emissions. So please keep your stock intakes around when it comes time to that. Remember this is just me building these, not some company or manufacturer just me alone.

P.S. I know you guys are curious on how the intake actual looks completely, so here it is: This was actually the first prototype, the intakes will look very similar to this.

Thanks again for the interest you guys,
Calvin
