Due to the abysmal response on the original group buy http://www.solaraguy.org/viewtopic.php? ... =cpe+group , production of the CP-E intake for the Solara has been put on hold.

However, I have been in touch with Josh at CP-E and Donny at www.theRPMstore.com and talked about starting up production again. Josh has agreed to resume production in limited quantities if the interest is there (5 or more buyers). Donny has generously offered to extend the original group buy pricing to us again. Free shipping within continental US. These prices are for the gen 1 and gen 1.5 non-tunable version. Tunable controller can be added to your order for $99.

5 buyers: $449.95
10 buyers: $429.95

Sound off only if you are willing and able to going through with the purchase. Let's show our appreciation for the much needed aftermarket performance support this company has given us.

yeah dat, that would be keeping with the tradition of our group buys!

but seriously, i am ready to pull the trigger. only 4 more people have to be as serious for Josh to go ahead and crank out a few more.

i have been hearing nothing but good feedback from those that have this intake. search around for testimonials. i havent heard one person say it wasnt worth the money. and most of them paid retail.

was always interested, but they never had official support when use with a s/c. I know Sienna uses his with a 5.5psi pully and no issues, but I'd like some word from them saying its cool or maybe a quick tweak from the tuner box to compensate from the added air.

GUYS!!

All I can tell you is this....

On my '04 Gen 2 application, the CP-e MAFci absolutely ROCKS!!!

I have the "tuneable" version, and although no need to further tune mine yet, I have studied the literature and architecture of the system, and believe there is tremendous "headroom" for additional mods and compensation by the system. The CP-e is an exceptional modification, well worth the money, and upward compatible with a variety of tuning mods....

Finally, JOSH ROCKS!!! I would put alot of effort into supporting his product and team for what they have done for the Solaras.

My $0.02

It's funny, out of all the group buys most of them never work out. I've expressed interest in the lambo doors and that never happened. Lets hope this does. I planned on purchasing one by the end of the year anyways so if the deal works out that would be great. Saves me $40 plus whatever shipping would have been.
