repaint your original grill

the spot where the T emblem goes is solid, it prob wont look as good as the original

that paint will probably chip off just as easily as your original, but I do like the looks of it.

Geez guys - for $50 it wouldn't be worth looking into?

Besides - not paint, it's CHROME! And the "solid" part where the emblem goes is already ON your OEM grilles... you'll still need to take your old one off and replace it - or buy a new emblem.

I think the chrome looks great - lots better than the Renovas I've seen on here!

Will do.

It's like I replaced my stock one for this one but better. Renova is an awesome looking grill and this grill is a simple bolt on and I wasn't liking my stock one.

I'll be the guinea pig :)

I would assume that the grille is plastic...and isn't it pretty difficult and expensive to actually chrome plate plastic? Do you use the traditional 3 stage process? That is why I questioned the validity of the seller claiming a "chrome" grille. Here is an interesting site sorta explaining the plastic chroming process: http://www.muellercorp.com/chromeplatingplastic.htm

The price + my assumption of using a plastic grille was the reason that I figured it was just chrome painted.
