Hi Derrick,
I got some bad news. After I got your deposit I went
to the storage where I kept the supercharger and found
that the storage was broken into and it was stolen. We
both lost out. Me for $2500 and you for a nice
supercharger kit. It is really bad. I am going to have
to paypal you back your $100 deposit. So let me know
what paypal email address to send the $100 to.
Regards, Damon.

That sucks, buddy! Technically, if it's down on paper that you are going to buy it with an initial deposit, and then you can prove that the kit wasn't "stolen," aren't you liable to sue for some sort of lying/fraud tat went on? The deposit, if noted on written contract, is a final sale saying the seller MUST sell their thing to the buyer unless the buyer cannot pay anymore. Just my $.02 and thoughts, but I'm not sure if it's truth.

Therefor, you're liable to sue! Sue him for the supercharger and $5,000 punative damages :P .

If that's the same one, why did he have a manual s/c kit for his Sienna? But, it's interesting that he says he had it in storage for a year....

Dude has only 2 feedback as a seller, and both are too old to see what they were (could have been $.50 packs of gum for all I know)...

Weighing that with the above said, I'd pass on it...

Just MY $.02...

Report the auction to eBay stating that the seller did what he did to you. He'll lose his ID.

if he is giving back all of the money then how is he being a jerk about it?

It's not like he re-listed the thing hoping for more money (is he?)

No im not whining about it i would think he would just come out and tell me that he wanted it for a higher price instead of lying about it being stolen... Thats all.

Reserve is $2600 guys, he told me last night...

I am really in the market for a supercharger, but even 2600 for a new unit is slightly too much IMO... well see what happens, but it wouldnt surprise me if someone pays 3200 for the buy it now... Thats just way too much for 50 horsepower in my opinion, Im sorry...
