Good Rubber Help Needed

I would have never thought that the day would come where my problem would be traction. From a stand still without any engine rev I can burn the tires for over 30 feet. If I brake lock, rev and launch it will sit still and burn to white smoke before moving and then still burns for over 20 feet.

Believe it or not I can burn the tires from 5 to 20 MPH roll.

OK, I need recommendations for superior traction all weather tire.

Chris (Crisp) gave me some sites for tire surveys, but I accidentally deleted the PM. You might ask him to forward them to you. Different types of tires and surveys from people who have driven them. Rates them on all different characteristics.

I don't think you'll get that kind of grip with an all-season tire, and even if you do it's still not going to match Z-rated/summer tires.

^ I agree....no all-season performance will hold up to what you're putting down....especially considering how hot it is over there


you could go with a set of eagle F1's or toyo t1r's, or Falken azenis

the weather over there is hot enough that they'll probably have almost full traction without warming up

I rented out Pontiac G6 GT for day trip. I wasn't really paying attention to american cars. But it was impressive. It was very powerfull, in fact, faster than solara (I didn't know G6 got bigger engine and more HP, i found out that later). And it was very quiet at the same time. (my solara have a lot of road noise b/c i am running on noname brand cheap stuff) G6 was running on KUMHO tire 225/50/17. The size is exactly what I am getting next time and I am thinking of same tire. I highly recommend KUMHO!
It has very good traction on dry road. I am not sure about wet surfaces, since I haven't tried) I was thinking of getting FALKEN previously, now I am all the way to KUMHO.

I gotta say my Falken Azenis RT-615's stick like GLUE!!

I've had some of the G35 guys say I was crazy to burn up track tires on the road, but I love the handling. I know I won't get more than 15K out of them, but its worth it IMO!

I drove enough to make a recommendation in one day driving.
I drove 1000km round trip to go to job interview. (Company paid all my expenses lol) They were located near Algonquin Park. Yes, I live in Canada.
I even drove on gravel road for like 50km. (round 100km)
It was like doing semi-rally experience. Very Very fun. But of course, I wouldn't do that with my lala.

Just let you know, those were summer tires, so it is not recommended if you live in a place that have lot's of snow.

I have Toyo T1-R now and I feel my Yokohama AVS ES100 were even better...but I didn't test my T1R enough to talk too much tho.

Eagle F1s are pretty good for dry/wet or go with BF Goodrich Traction T/As.

i have yokohama ES100 other than the road noise its a great tires
