i didnt personally do these tails, i bought them drom Dominosle, i think it was him....but he told me he did 3-4 coats

OK GUYs heres the my photobucket page.. i took roughly 3-4 hrs and 3 light coats with wet sanding in between..and heres the finished product:(55 random pics total)both Gen1 and Altezza got tinted i still have 1 set to tint.

Those look pretty smooth & clean - but is there any way to make the shiny to blend in with the black better? Just curious - as it really doesn't apply to me anyway - LOL! :D

I thought it was just me but NO.. VHT Niteshades in Not a glossy finish spray.. it is shiny when wet or under running water but when it dries it is very flat (see Dawgz black car in the 1st pic) i sprayed and wet sanded and removed the 1st attempt becuse i didnt like the level of glossy-ness,
i searched online and most if not all tails end up kinda flat.. plastic film IS way glossier but $100 more expensive.
i have 4 sets so id figure id hook up some SG members here, since tails,spray, and shipping and time. I'm not gonna make a major profit 10-20 bucks at most. 8) but it was Fun.

Job well done!! Those look very nice!! However, i think tinted tails only match with black cars... thats my opinion.....

^^true..but they also look good with dark blue and forest green. i had them on my grey car for a while..i get bored of the reg OEM look. 8)

Solarablue your tailis w 1 coat are 90% complete/i will wetsand and clearcoat too.
