I think he'd like to realize the value of the parts he has on it without having to take them off (apparently he doesn't have time or tools).

If you know the parts are worth money, and you can make some cash, why don't you just give him what he's asking for if you want it so bad? If you'll still make out ahead, I don't see the issue...except that, maybe, you're greedy?

Apparently he'd rather the car go to scrap, or whatever, than sell it to someone greedy.

I would at least take off everything you're able to including the bodykit. I know when my Solara was wrecked, insurance was going to give me $1100 for my supercharger, but I took it off and later sold it for $1300. The more you take off and hold onto, the more you'll have towards your next car once you sell the parts. I find it funny that the person that always says "No Lowballers" is a notorious lowballer

CAI & CAE - just remove and throw the stock one into the trunk, there not driving it away from you but towing it

TRD PSI GAUGE- remove your whole A-pillar

TRD Body kit- remove it, it'll take you 30 minutes

SAFC 2 - unplug it

Greddy Full cat-back exhaust- just remove it

HIDs Ballasts- remove it, don't worry about replacement

Viper 791 vx remote start-remove it dont worry about replacement

MB Quart Speakers- remove leave empty

charcoal floor mats, original JBL speakers- remove from car

I myself even removed my windshield wipers, etc that I could use on my Camry if mine were to ever fade, give them the car as close to stock, don't worry about replacing parts just removing it, insurance isn't coming to inspect everything that's on there, it's going to a yard or auction where it will be sold sight unseen, it's not like you're removing the engine and transmission. I lost about $5,000 with insurance but after everything I sold I only lost $800

I have some stock wheels in my garage and would be willing to trade you straight across for mine. The reason is I want a spare set of wheels for going on the track and don't want to spend any more money then I have already. I am not trying to steal them from you. I don't care what scratches are on the wheels and besides I already have a nice set of wheels on my car and I promise you I will not be putting these on my car. What do you say? I live about 1 hour from you and can bring the wheels before your Wednesday meeting. Let me know via PM.

It would be stupid as screw to let a junkyard crush that car. I don't know how much they want for the buyback but I cna't imagine it being too terribly much if you're ready to sell it at 5.5k ight now. Don't let those parts go to waste man. There's plenty of crap you can sell off, or let mark buy it back, settle on a price over what they're asking but under what you are and you can get a few extra bucks in your pocket at the very least for doing almost nothing but a small amount of paperwork. If you can get mark to settle on anything that'll net you a few hundred for doing nothing, it'd be retarded not to. Would that not be fair to everyone?
