I think the question you guys should ask yourself if he "pretty much babied" this car why does it have "flesh wounds", sunroof dents, tire curb rash, etc? Unlike Cali, Ohio is a freeze/thaw/freeze/burn state and I have kept cars in better shape than this one with way more miles and years through salt, dust and potholes. Point--this car was NOT babied which should lead you to start questioning before bidding. Just because it's "as-is" doesn't mean you can't get something in writing from the owner.... I hate reading stories about people getting burned on this forum.

Don't worry, you're not the only one who's bitter. I paid 16k for my solara at a dealer, and I think it's slow... It pushes pretty strong at first gear, but once it gets to second gear, all cars passes me... but I still drive it...

84k miles with a new clutch, tein springs, tokico struts, shaved emblems, and immaculate paint and interior... met the previous owner since he was from SG and he told me it ran Mobil 1 synthetic from the day he bought it ans red line trans fluid... couldnt have found a better car IMO.

That IS a good deal, Very good find. I came across a Maxima in similar condition, I've been considering trading my Solara for it.
