ok so i managed to drill a whole through finally with a help of a friend. We actually salvaged one of the old snapped drill bits. And he drilled with more pressure i guess and it went through.

So i went ahead and installed it.... A couple of things though are weighing on my mind..Since im pretty noob... at stuff like this especially.. im scared i did something wrong.

When i was doing the wiring.. it was a real pain in the ass... when i first did it.. i realized that there were more one of the colors it would tell me itd connect to. and so i had to redo it.
putting the scotchloks was a bitch.. it was so damn hard to make'em close.

Looking ont he instructions...
The #2 on installing the MAF customizer hardware part. It said detach the factory wiring harness. It didnt have a picture so i didnt know what it was talkin about.

and #5 Reassembly. No pics as well. Didnt really know what it was talkin about again... - Reattach the black plastic clip to the gray factory ECU plug. - PLace the gray ECU plug into the car's ECU.

i just pretty much put everything back to where it was supposed to be. And plugged in the MAF customizer.

Well after i installed it to what i pretty much thought was right...
i drove it around so far so good. no CELs which is good right? And i havent driven and pushed it too much yet. before i know everything is ok after hearing maybe a few responses.

glad to hear you got it. It sounds like you have it installed right you would get a CEL as soon as it starts otherwise. I say if you press don on the gad in neutral and rev it very quickly and it does not choke you defently have it installed right.

Josh told me if you miss even one wire you would know it because [1] the car wouldnt start [2] it would start and you would get a cel and be in limp mode.

Use pliers to close the scotchlocks! I had to read the instructions a few times and triple check every wire (thats just how I am). The maf hardware they speak of is just the maf intake plug under your hood. Mine reached the new location with no problem. I agree the instructions were missing one or two pictures but for the most part they were very well written and easy to understand.

Triple check is the key I think.

They made a great documentation for Gen 2 product. Was pretty to locate the good harness and the good pin by giving a great description of each wire. Good stuff.

something to know

NOT RUN THE INTAKE WITHOUT THE AIR FUEL CUSTOMIZER !!!
The engine run lean as hell (I dyno test it) I disconected the AFC and start the engine letting it run on idle...we were seeing no fuel in the mixture...so immediatly turn it off right away.

the large black plug that goes into the maf sensor, that goes into the intake tube.

no soldering if you use the scotchlocks.

Yea I used channel locks to close the scotchlocks I also checked everything with my DMM to make sure I had continuity.

BTW CPE does fit with a throttle body spacer

UPDATE I fixed my problem with getting the bit stuck in the vaume hole. First i made the hole big enough to fit the entire tube then I added this NPT fitting. Take a look and YES i cleaned the JB weld out of the fitting after I saw the pictures.

ahh thx man...

damn sounds good...
someone mentions that there was a significant amount of air. and he used the SAFC to add more fuel. So if we used the spacer without retuning will it run lean?

also everything still fit fine with the CPe w/ the spacer?

My car has been running well for a long time with it. I think his increase was a lot larger than the average solara because he is boosting at a decently high level
