anyone have a picture of the beam pattern coming out of a gen1? im wondering what our reflectors do to the light coming out, and if enough of it gets to the ground to make a noticeable difference? in other words, i dont want them just for the look, so even if they are much brighter, but the light is being refracted and reflected every which way by our stock housings, its not really any good.

Hey everyone, I just got back from the trip. Seeing how nobody's interested in my kits anoymore, I guess the mods can just lock this. I hope everyone enjoys their kits!

That's not true... I'm still interested. You'll have money by the 1st of July. I looked at the eBay auction and it seems that this guy is charging $54 + $45 shipping for the kits. While it may be cheaper overall, the fact that he uses a low bidding price and a high shipping cost leaves me with a sour taste in my mouth and casts doubt on the quality of the seller and the item. You, however, have a proven track record and we know that the item is quality. I'm willing to spend more money for peace of mind. :)

Gangis - thanks for your trust in me. If this is able to convince some other SG members into buying, then we can keep this thread running. The main reason is because the first kit is $50 to ship from China, and all the others are less, so it will even out over a few buyers.

Is anyone else still in for this group buy?

everyone uses these tactics when selling on ebay. i see a proven track record with thi8s seller also and still would have peace of mind if I bought from him. and the fact that I saved $20 and he makes about $80-85 after shipping is ok with me

I'm not convinced that it's the same HID kit either... The sticker on the ballasts look different, as are the wires. I'd rather go with something that's known to be of good quality by people here on SolaraGuy. Just my two cents...

That's what I'm saying... RDKamikaze's HID kit is already known to be of good quality and has had good feedback from people "in the know" about these things. eBay is a different matter though. I've been burned by eBay in the past so I've been leery of most of the things sold there.

I might get 3 sets. Are you planning to do more group buys after this?

It's the last group buy. Check the first post :)

"This group buy will end on July 7th! It will be the last HID group buy that I do..."

Let me know which kits you want. Remember, PayPal can now be accepted again!
