I'm interested in a kit as well, probably the 50W kit, H11 6000k. Still wondering if I should just get replacement bulbs for my McCulloch kit or get this. Also considering the rebased Philips kit at Xenondepot.com I'll let you know before the group buy ends, and the kits on ebay ARE NOT THE SAME KITS.

For the record...

...I'd buy from RDK before EBAY any day. I'd pay a little more without hesitation as well.

I deal with a dealership that costs me more than internet... but they DO give me 15% across the board on parts, and they are often in overnight. Additionally, I have an 18 year relationship with them. Counts for something.

Sterling, I appreciate your attempts at independent enterprise... it is the awarding of business based on "price tag alone" that has nearly "defunct" the "BIG 3" in automotive... and compromised quality across the board globally. OVERCOMPETING will ultimately destroy the stability of predictable market conditions... especially when material economics comes into play.

In a business model... if you are a "manufacturer"... and your only incentive to your worker/operator is their paycheck... when the shop next door pays a nickel more an hour, the laborer will jump ship. If you instill a sense of ownership, engagement, pride, association that is deeper than the price tag alone... people will perform at a higher level for less money, and be more satisfied doing so.

I find great satisfaction in being a part of transactions that are "community" in nature... and help the cause of our "fellowman". Of course, there is always someone cheaper, faster, wealthier than us all out there... and to him be the spoils.... NOT!!!!!

First off, the $20 more was because of higher shipping costs than expected. My people from China, on the final quote, had to bump up the price because of the shipping miscalculations that were quoted to me. Money was then coming from my pocket, and I was paying a little more than expected. I have to make up for my losses somehow. This is similar to the calendar GB last year. I lost a LOT of money on that one, because the final quote was not as expected. Also, I'll be including a calendar to everyone who buys a kit this time around. Sorry to the other guys, it crossed my mind the other day when I saw them in my room still.

To sum it up nice and short, a quote ca't always be perfect. It's a rough estimate. As stated before, if you don't want to buy my kits, then just leave this thread and stop bothering this GB. Thanks :) .

I agree. If you don't like it, don't buy it.

Coming on averyone's GB threads and telling everyone they are being ripped off, while conveniently inferring you can get them cheaper (not the first time you have done this) is pretty lame. It's akin to Walmart going into every other store and placing ads inside the store aisles, next to different items, telling you that you can go to Walmart to get them cheaper.

If you feel so strongly, go start your own GB...like you tried before. For me, if I were in the market for and HID kit...I'd buy it from RDK for twice the price before I bought one from you.
