Are these the ones that are blue when off and amber when lit? If so, I'll take them!

Yea, they a slight blue tint and yes they are DOT approved.

how much are they retail? i thought advance had them for around $20 for a set.

They're a deeper amber than the "yellowey" normal bulbs, and they have a pearlescent blue look to them - very sexy. They seem to be clearer and brighter, and put out more light as well.

I've got a pic or three of them, I just have to check my site and see what I named them and I'll link them here.

I got some pics on my CarDomain on pg2. Since thier blue coated, They look best on white, blue, and silver. It doesnt really look right on my black car, but I gave the bulbs to my friend and it looks real good on my friends white Solara

in my clear corners, i have, gulp...

APC titaniums

they are silver colored and light up amber - they look great and were not expensive at all. they are the first and last apc product i will buy because everything else they make is trash.

I think it depends if you want a better "flow" or you want something to be noticed with.
