Looks great and is very light weight. It just does not push enough air here in the AZ summer heat. Less then 100 miles on it.

$125 (+ shipping) or best offer. Cost $240 + brand new

Flex-A-Light (or something like that) electric fan for your car. Takes the load off the engine to give you more HP, etc.

We're not as bad as AZ, but 105 today, for our 32nd 100+ day. We're not much better.

Hey bro. GOt a question. Does it push more air then the stock ones? And why isnt it helping you in the heat? I get 100+ temp here too. SO is that bad?

That's a very good price... Do you know if it will fit a Gen 2 properly? The radiators don't seem much different size wise, so I'm wondering if it can be jimmy-rigged if it doesn't fit perfectly to start...

Not the fan, the hood scoop!

The fan pulls fine.
Your biggest problem is that your hood scoop functions only to create positive air pressure in your engine compartment which the fans have to fight to overcome. Plus 1 point from the car-show judges for installing a disfunctional hoodscoop, minus 20 points from the racecar engineer.

And its not the AZ heat either. The more power a given engine produces, the more heat. Adding headers, dual exhaust and intercooler piping creates more radiant heat in your stock engine compartment. The benefits of added capicity of oil and cooling abilities from the addition of your oil cooler is negated by your front mount intercooler and stock AC condensor blocking air thru your radiator.

The solution is to vent the hot air out of your engine compartment while creating negative/neutralizing air pressure in engine compartment so that air will pass thru radiator.

and/or, open up front bumper cover and/or remove AC condenser and/or get an aluminium radiator.

Pro-Rally, I've seen your bro-in-laws work and it's commendable, your attitude and constant putdowns, not so much so. Let your work/family work speak for itself.

Cough, cowl hood. Wow that would look funny on a solara. But he's right guys. something that outlets air is what is needed here, not something the fights the fans.

Doesn't have to be in the hood. Many cars have vents or slits in their fenders for the same purpose. Some cars can remove trim from around windsheild wiper mounts for better airflow.
Having it vent out the hood is the best option as heat rises. Not only does it aid in cooling your engine compartment, but it allows air to escape at speed negating a parachute-effect causing big-time drag slowing your car and reducing gas milage and when parked after a drive, the heat can escape preventing heat damage/dry rotting of your coolant hoses and belts.

I can feel a torrent of heat pumping out the small pair of kidney vents in my hood after parking my car following a commute. More so than out of the large vent above my turbo, exhaust manifold and radiator.

Can be purchased here:
http://www.carbontrix.com/
and click on "Vents & Air ducts"

They also have Supra CF.

Try cooling a rallycar which has a skidplate blocking airflow out of bottom of engine compartment.
