havnt had a chance to put mine on to test the fitment.
the stuff holding the mesh on kind of sucks but ill secure it some more before paint etc... judging by how it looks it would get destroyed durring the winter months.
all in all im happy.... as long as it fits.
packaging was great!

EDIT: i just did the test fit and it was kind of a pain to line up the holes but all in all it looks great. cant wait to get it painted, itll look 10x better.
i also share the same middle bar issues however i will never use it so it doesnt matter, if i wnted the middle bar i would have stayed stock.

I'm having a little fitment issue with the middle bar, but nothing a little bending of the mesh won't fix. It's just the screws for the bar don't line up with the holes in the mesh but that was expected. I'm sure it'll sit flush once I do that.

Other than that my packaging was good, trying the fitment today, and my mesh looks/feels pretty secure. I have 12 mount points for the mesh.

Probably painting this weekend if the weather stays nice.

My packaging was good. Mesh is secured at various points really well for me (nothing loose). I have not test fitted this..but will do so over the weekend. The middle bar was tough for me to align but for me this is a non-issue as i do not plan on using the middle bar.
On the whole, i'm happy we as a toyota solara community were able to achieve this. I'm happy with the product (although wish some aspects were different - but beggers can't be choosers). THANKS!

My mesh was on pretty well when i got it but after taking it to four different bodys shops for estimates. The mesh started to fall off after it got touched too much. So the road will definatly take it off. Im just going to yank it out and get it painted and then reapply it using cold weld which will solve this problem. The estimated prices for paint between the four body shops was $71 to $150. Im still trying to look into the spray paint thing for my car. Apparently they cant do it if your car has some pearl in it. And supposivly one of the body shops said that my paint does have some pearl in it.

I prefited all the grill and i thought you guys hsould not have any problem in fiting

here is the technique:

1. slide the 2 little center studs into the holes down there first.

2. while half way in, check left and right outter most lower stud to make sure they slide right into the right place.

3. push the top of the grill in, and install the center bolts first.

4. push the grill in gentally and put in the bolts on the right side and left side.

The grill is made out by hand and therefore the screw hole fitment is off abit. In fact there were ten grills were defect so badly that we have to disgard it (yup so only 90 grills ever exist!) if you still have trouble, you can go buy($20) or borrow a mini dremal to enlarge the screw holes, it was not hard to do it.

and if the center grill tend to fall off, i am pretty sure epoxy glue will fix it.....

i hope this helps.
