what do you guys think of a 1.7 drop in the front and 1.4 in the back tein s.tech lowering springs with tokico hp shocks struts. I currently have 18 inch rims with 224 40 18 tires

That combo is nothing new so there should be no problems... not really sure why you are asking what we think...

Hey
I have 225/40/18 with +38mm offset
riding on Tein S Tech + KYB GR2
Looks absolutely sick but unfortunately with the 38mm offset i had rubbing on the rears
a quick trim of the rear fenders look care of that, and with 400 pounds on the rear, the tire even tucks into the fender and still doesnt rub

I think the S Tech gives the solara the PERFECT ride height. And the handling response is way way up.

i was wondering if there would be any problems that would come up with that setup if i buy them. Sorry if i shouldn't have posted it. I did use the search but couldnt come up with anything. And Mr Chunks your car is exacly like mine but on mine you can see the ugly ass frame of the car " the side ones" And on yours you cant.
