FS: TRD Supercharger - Great Condition

For sale is an extremely clean and rare, hard to come by TRD Supercharger for all 1MZ-FE (non-VVTi) motors with manual or automatic transmissions. The supercharger has approximately 50,000 miles which is extremely low mileage for these blowers (considering their age). This supercharger holds boost and is in proper working order. This kit is street and emissions legal and comes stock with a 4 psi pulley, yielding a max horsepower of 276 hp and a max torque of 271 lb-ft. That’s a gain of 70 hp and 62 ft-lb of torque, translating to an amazing 40% increase in power!!! Prior to posting the TRD Supercharger for sale, I drained & added fresh supercharger oil so this will be one smooth running supercharger.

This kit includes:

TRD Supercharger
TRD Belt Routing Assembly with "L" Bracket
TRD Manual EGR Tube (OEM Auto EGR tube will work fine)
TRD 3.4" Pulley 4 psi
TRD Alternator Bolt
All hardware included (screws, gaskets, etc.)
New Fresh Supercharger Oil
Installation Manual

My selling price is $2700 or best offer but no lowballing allowed! I can deliver in the tri-state area if needed and installation is also available. Feel free to email or call me at (347)256-0760 with any questions and I'll be glad to address your questions.

Pics will be posted soon.

The EGR tube is for a manual transmission. If you have an automatic, you could bend and reuse your original automatic EGR tube to fit.

NOTE: I did this for my automatic Solara so anyone who tells you different, they're wrong because I'm speaking from experience.

No TRD Strut Bar available, sorry. On a side note, there could be a million superchargers being sold but it doesn't mean that they will be under sold because you have competition. Negotiating is fine but selling an item at a low price is simply silly.

i hope you dont sell it that low, im about to buy one and id feel like an idiot for overpaying for the one im getting. usually when theres more supply than demand it does mean lower prices though, but as long as you can wait you should eventually get your asking price. GLWS.

Over the last year, i bought roughly 12 used trd superchargers. 9 out of the 12 needed a full rebuild, which is around $700. So when buying one of these you have to consider if you are going to have to put another $700 into it, chances are judging from my experience, most of these need a rebuild unless it has already been done. Tyrone, how many miles on this kit and does it need a rebuild?

thanks

Whats considered a low price? my $1700 bid? I have bought several kits in the past for $1200-$1400 complete,so i think $1700 is very reasonable considering how slow the market is and considering this unit will need a rebuild soon if it hasn't had one. a rebuild is around $700. It really all comes down to how bad you want to sell it.

You speak of my supercharger as though you wouldv've inspected it yourself and know it needs a rebuild. This supercharger was already inspected and tested, and it doesn't seem to need a rebuild. A lot of people could vouch for me that what I sell isn't garbage, and Solaraguy isn't my only source for advertising the items I sell so for you to come out of your face and offer me pennies for a quality supercharger is an insult. Besides, everyone knows you flip things online so if I sell it to you at $1700, its not for personal use but rather to make a profit so regardless it'll be sold to someone else at my original selling price (if not higher). Nothing personal, this is strictly business. And being you brought it up, no I'm not in a rush to sell it.

Was the supercharger inspected by a actual shop that does S/C rebuilds?

Please take all negotiations to email. Think of it from the sellers perspective, maybe he owes someone a favor or someone has helped them out a lot so they would want to give them a better price, but if they list that price in the thread then they'll have to honor it for everyone. It makes life easier if you take all negotiations through Email or PM.

I guess no one reads this.
It's his S/C, let him ask what he wants for it. :drinking: :drinking: :drinking:

^Indeed. Don't clutter up this thread people; if there is no true intent of purchasing, save your posting for PM or another thread.
