I'm curious as to why it would sit at an auto auction for about 7 years?

New to the site and noticed this post.I bought the ebay Solara.I wanted a nice summer driver with some class, kind of sporty, but still decent on gas and stumbled across this car.I was looking for the typical Monte SS,Gand Prix coupes,Cadillac CTS or STS.....I think in the long run this will be a better bang for the buck, even though I paid ALL the money for the car, plus shipping, taxes. Now I need more garage space, since this is too clean to sit out!
