Hey guys, don't know if anyone here remembers me, but my Lara has finally died, and I'm in the process of figuring out what to do with her. I figured I'd let y'all have first crack at it. The engine is shot and there's some minor cosmetic damage and minor frame damage (holds together fine at speeds of 80+mph, damage pretty much only prevents the pass. door from opening all the way), and the interior is that of a 13 year old car, but she'd still make a heck of a parts car.

I'll include all the things I have added to the car, which is as follows:
DatsRBoi's custom designed Y-pipe (with a new cat. converter from the install)
Reverse Glow Gauges
Custom SRI (which will throw a CEL, because the pipe diameter is too wide)
Helix throttle body spacer
Trunk liner with "Solara" sewn in
Reinforced tranny support bracket (custom batch made by Gabe, IIRC)
Tranny support mount rod (the one that uses bushings to damper vibrations, instead of the OEM hydraulic support).

I think my custom ground wire kit is still installed too.

Otherwise, the car is a 99 V6 SLE automatic trans, which means it has:
Sunroof (tilt and retract both work)
JBL sound (i think...sorry, no OEM headunit, it died on me and I took my aftermarket headunit with me to the new ride)
Beige leather interior (driver seat is a little shredded from 13 years of getting in/out, but otherwise in decent condition all around)
Electric seats (movement controls, not heated or anything like that)

I also have a spare front grill (from Damon, I think....if anyone remembers him) which is in pretty perfect condition (no chips to the chrome, all the 'slats' in the grill are in great condition with no rock chipping), which I will throw in also. I was planning on doing a custom renovo grill knockoff, but never got around to it. chrome, not gold.

I WILL NOT PART OUT THE CAR, or sell any of the accessories separately, UNTIL THE CAR ITSELF HAS BEEN SOLD. Dat's Y-pipe will NOT be removed from the car and sold separately, sorry. If the car sells to someone outside of the SG community, I will most likely not include the accessories, which will be posted here in the FS section when the time comes (except the Dat's pipe, which will be sold attached to the car).

In the interest of full disclosure, there is cosmetic damage to the driver side door, passenger side door, pass. side front quarterpanel, and the pass cornerlamp is broken. The damage to the pass side may extend all the way down to the rear pass. quarterpanel (I'm at work currently). The bezel around the radio has the 'woodgrained' cracked and part of the plastic peeled off.

All electrical works, hood is straight and unbent with no rock chips (flame red metalic OEM paint color), rear bumper is in decent to good condition (only damage I can think of would be from the trailing damage down the side of the car). Front bumper is slightly less than ok in condition, as the pass side has damage near the cornerlamp. Tranny is good (although it is a rebuilt salavage).

You know the car. Asking price for all of the above stuff is $700 (will be $800 on craigslist for just the car).

Like I said, the engine went, so it will be up to you to arrange pickup/transportation of the vehicle which is located in San Antonio, TX.

If there are any questions, go ahead and ask.

honestly there is very few people that buy full on cars as is. If they do its because it has major work done to it. Supercharged etc etc. My suggestion would be part it out. Or you can always wait and see what happens, but the way this community has become its hard to even sell parts so if you part out or sell the full car up to you. Good luck!

Actually to be honest I would buy the car remove the Dat's Y-Pipe and part out the car to make my money back and profit.

forgot to mention, this will include 18" akita wheels (currently on the car) as well as 4 16" toyota brand split-5-spoke rims.

this is a great deal guys. the aftermarket wheels, toyota rims, and all the above for only $700.

I think youd make more money finding a used oem y pipe and selling me your dats y pipe for 150 and still sell your car for 700. Its worth wayyyy more than 800$. Id be willing to pay you right away for that y-pipe. But thats your choice man.
GLWS, thats a steal for all the goodies you have on it. If youd be in Canada i would buy it all for parts. :drinking:

I checked out the grill I got from Damon, and it's been blacked out around the grill. the only chrome is in the center on the emblem. The grill on the solara currently (as seen in the pictures, link below) is in 9/10 condition, with good chrome around it. the problem is, it's on the car still, and will stay on the car if the car sells to an individual (read: not a salvage yard/pick'n'pull). If I end up sending my Lara to the knacker (to make glue and dog food out of), then I will gladly remove all the aftermarket parts to sell.

I've been driving cars for a while now, so this go around I decided to go with a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Figure the change of pace would do me good.
