color is color, lumens is lumens

Hello GUys

well...what you guys said I totally agree with. It's all personal preference. FOR COLOR.

I posted the reply in order to inform people about BRIGHTNESS.heck, I even see some people with green lights, not everyone likes the same color (blue, white, purple...etc), but I'm sure everyone likes to have a BRIGHT HID KIT.

if you park a car with 4100k next to one with 10000k, you'll know what I'm talking about. there is no comparison.

I know this might piss some people off who prefer the higher "k" bulbs, but hey, all I want to do is to inform people of the important issue of BRIGHTNESS, after all...this is what this forum is about anyway, rite? helping each other out?

well...if you've got any more questions, go to HIDFORUM.COM , those guys will give you a complete explanation of color and brightness.

alrite, all the best to everyone :D

GOD BLESS

Hello Grazi07

Thanks for your reply, makes me feel like I'm actually contributing to this forum now...

my color is between white/purple

you can see my car at this website

www.plasmagarage.com

down the left hand side, you'll see TOYOTA SOLARA HID, and check it out! it's pretty nice I suppose, my HID kit makes the Lexus ones look a little yellow, although that's just because of contrast. Sometimes I wish I would've bought the 4100k, but everytime I see the purple tint...I smile...haha. Still gotta have some color...the sacrifice of Lumens isn't much though, so it's alrite.

4100k- 3200 lumens
6000k- 2800 ~ 3000 lumens

hmm...hope that helps! :D

and also, congratulations on your decision to buy HID (I don't know if you're a college student like I am, but it was A BIG DECISION FOR ME...400 bucks?!!!) but...you WON'T REGRET IT

XENON ROCKS!

GoD bless

Kevin

p.s. to Krawzyazn- sorry if my posts offended you, or affected your sales, please don't take it personally...just putting in my .02

just for comparison sake, here's the info on silverstars and their lumen ratings.

http://www.sylvania.com/auto/silverstar.htm

Even at 6000K you're getting about triple the output of a silverstar...
