emergency brake light

my emergency light keeps falshing when it isnt suppose to, anyone know how to control that light?

that means something wrong with your brake system, did you check the fluid level?

It can also mean brake pads are low.

I don;t think the light (sensor) can tell if the pads are worn, only that the brake fluid is low; however, this CAN happen when your pads get worn as more fluid is in the brake lines to push the pads out further.

Top off your brake fluid. If that does not fix the probem then investigate the parking brake switch. do you have your parking brake on by a click or 2 accidentally? Open up the console & find th switch. it could be grounding out on something.

If it was an ABS problem then the ABS light would be on, not the brake light.

I agree with sentinel. It "should" only be that you are low on brake fluid. Even if it looks good enough to you, I suggest you top it off. My light came on, I put in about 2 tablespoons worth and the light never came back on.
