I bring my car into All Tune And Lube, this place pretty close by to get an inspection done. I'm just sitting there, reading a book and and the guy comes in and hes like
"where is your lock nut key?"
me: "in the glove box"

I wait another 10 minutes, and he calls me into the shop to look at the car.

"well you need an oil change, a tranny and power steering flush, new brakes, and new battery terminals because yours are corroded."
This is bs already...

me: no, i don't need new brakes, oil, or tranny and PS flush because I just got all those done 2 weeks ago."

"oh....hmmm...well you need new battery terminals"

"no i don't, I will clean those off."

"hmm...well-"

"what do i need to do to pass?"

"well...you are missing a lock nut. we will replace it for $20 "

"thats BS you lost my lock nut"

"no we didn't"

"whatever, send another lock nut over and just pass me."

The lock nut comes, and i am getting rung up. As I am getting rung up, one of the employees comes back with a stack of cellophane-wrapped things.

"we are selling flags today. $15. you want one?"

they were swastika flags.

"no, i'm not interested."

bastards.

and on top of that, they stole my lock nut key.

again, bastards.

they were selling Swastika Flags!? wtf?

i kid you not. I'm not jewish or anything, but its still offensive. i was like

Dude, I am in their face when I go to those lube n tune places. If I could spend all day at the toyota dealership service department, I'd do the same there.

Hope you don't have any aftermarket wheels on your car...change the lock nuts and key.

Yeah i definitely learned a lesson from that. Everything is stock on my car, but they didn't even replace my LOCK nut with a LOCK nut. they replaced it with some POS lug that is completely different than my other ones, so I need to go to Toyota and see if I can get a match, or a whole new set.

those guys are just ridiculous.

With my skin tone I really should not be laughing about anything involving swastikas but like I said before I laugh at crap that shouldn't be funny. How much do they charge for wiper fluid flushing?

You know, the swastika WAS some kind of international symbol of peace before the Nazi's used it. Some nationalities still conseder it to be a sign of peace.

Unless the flags you saw were specifically red with a white center circle with the swastika in the center, than they may not have been meant in the way we think.

Also the swastika is at a 45 degree angle. The orginal symbol for peace wasn't.
