Rone should be filing a complaint with ups for package not received. Demanding an insurance claim. Getting refunded from ups. Then paying Gabe the money he was refunded.

What an asshole.

If this dude knew he could get his ECU from e-bay all along for less money, then why the hell was he wasting time low balling Gabe in the first place? I think this newb just saw an opportunity, and took it. Karma is a bitch though.

Really sucks for your loss Gabe. I've heard of people doing this with computer parts as well to receive them for free. UPS is notorious for dropping packages without confirmation of delivery, especially small packages.

On a personal note, I was living in an apartment complex a few years ago and ordered a video game off ebay. The complex was one with a foyer and then a security door so you couldn't deliver directly to the persons door. I wasn't home at attempted delivery so they left my package sitting in the foyer where anyone could've snatched it. Luckily it was there when I got home from work.

thanks guys for your support. I am going to have to take it as a loss so i dont invest to much time in the matter over $140. Lesson to be learned make sure you get signature required on shipments especially first time buyers!
