Question for 06 Nav owners

Postby slingshot » Tue May 03, 2005 5:03 am

What version of Nav DVD do you have? Go to Menu button then hit the Map DVD button on the display to see the version (the other method is to eject the DVD and look at it). I"m still at version 3.1, heard the 05's had version 4.2 and wondering if the 06's had an even newer version. I got a letter from Toyota that says I can get a free upgrade this year and wanted to wait till the 06's come out to get the latest version.
Thanks in advance.

The Toyota navigation option is available only on the SLE. With this unit, you are still able to play CD's as they have a single CD player. THe unit flips open to stick in a CD behind it. The Navigation HU does have a CD changer port if you want to install a CD changer also.
