2006 Solara Stereo Removal

Postby stanrz71 » Fri Aug 05, 2005 7:33 pm

I just purchased a 2006 Solara and I came with an XM ready stereo system. I can not figure out how to remove the stereo from the dash in order to install the cables. No screws showing nothing. Does anyone have any tips on getting to the stereo?

Sorry for jumping in your post. I would also like to know.

Do you guys know how to take out the factory stereo dash without damaging it.
I am trying to install subs and amps into the factory stereo.
Will I need RCA jacks or any converters other than the power cables?
