Sorry the pics came out so bad I took them with my camera phone.

It'd not totally finished yet, We just installed the navigation and my trim piece which is the only thing missing is coming tomorrow :)

I think he disconnected them.. because they stop working. I am taking it back to him this wed. When he puts the trim on I am going to ask him that. I might have to buy an extra kit for that. I saw it somewhere but I am not 100% sure.

cause I got a good deal on it :p

And seeing that I only use it to travel for leisure I didnt see paying more than 1k for a system. :)

your steering wheel functions wont work anymore after that is installed. you have to buy some other thing(forgot what it was called) and hook that up for it to work.

I hopes it's only the sound system's functions that are not available anymore...I hope that the display function still works (I don't see why not !!)

The the unit you need to get the steering wheel controls to work is the PAC SWI-X.

i have the avn 5435, and my steering controls work fine, you do not need to buy any kit, they just have to switch a few connectros and thats all. any shop that is qualified will be able to do this for you. try another shop and they should do that for you

I called him yesturday and he said something about buying an additional adapter for $150.

I knew I read somewhere that the AV5435 was usuable with the steering controls.

Thanks for the heads up!
