OK, can anyone update this thread? Mine is a 2006 SLE w/Nav, with the original maps. I'd like to update them since the roads in my area have been under construction. I'd like a 2009/2010 map, depending on what's available, and could always muddle through for a few months if the 2010 won't be released before the new year.

I don't know what the part # is, but the most recent update was just released in September 2009. It is release 9.1. The 2006 Solara, which has the E7001 unit, uses a Gen 4 disc.

yup. I also need a new disc. I have been checking on Ebay, but even then, it's still expensive....
