CD Player Failure

I own a 2004 solara with 70k. It's now out of warranty and the CD Player no longer works. I've only ejected and inserted CDs about 20 or 30 times. The CDs wouldn't eject, so I used tweezers to pull them out. Once removed, player will not accept CDs. Just wondering if anyone has had this problem or knows what might be wrong so I could fix myself?

Thank you.

I myself have never had that problem. but as far as fixing it goes, I would just replace the head unit with an aftermarket one. Many more features, looks better in my opinion.

sometimes just disconnecting the unit for awhile and then powering it back up can fix the problem. you can to it @ the battery or pull the radio itself and try.

Its cheaper to just buy an 07 HU and stick it in there.... it comes with an aux port and u can get them for like 100 or even the same price. Even if its a bit more, you would get a working cd player, and there won't be random wiring and crap behind the HU.
