New System Soon, Need Help

Hey all, I thinking about redoing my entire system in my gen2. My system is currently all OEM, non-JBL except for a Eclipse AVN50D head unit. This is what I have planned so far:

Rear Deck: Infinity Kappa 693.7i
http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Product/ ... p=91&avf=N

Front Door Speakers + "Tweeters": Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.1
http://www.crutchfield.com/ISEO-rgbtcsp ... =108perf61

AMP: Infinity Reference 1300a
http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Product/ ... 00A&tp=115

Now I know the front door speakers are 6X9 and I know some members here have installed 6.5" in the front door. My question is, how hard will it be to fabricate a mount for these speakers?

Another question is, how does everyone like this setup? I am a total noob with speakers and all, but I am a Infinity freak :D. I had a tough time deciding between 2 way speakers and 3 way speakers for the rear deck. I am looking for clarity over bass.

I will add a subwoofer later on.

Hey man, I just did some stuff to my system, I had the OEM non JBL also. I went with all Alpine components, 4-6x9's, and an Alpine V-power amp which I had mounted under the passenger seat as not to take up trunk space or risk getting damaged in the trunk. In the next week or two im going to add two tweeters to the side pillars that run along the windshield cuz now it kinda sounds like most of the music is at my feet instead of coming at me and im also going to add two 10" subs in the trunk. I will go with infinity i think for the subs, its a great product, really dont think you can wrong with anything infiniti. Goodluck with the system man.

You crack me up lol lol

They are good, just there best though and the rep firm in my area was fired from Diamond because of low sales.

I didn't even read the whole thread yet and I looked for you hahaha.
Wanna rep for them? There hiring :)

someazn, your adding a sub later on and you want a sub amp now?

They sell already made plates for 6.5 to fit in 6x9 locations.

Get a four channel amp now.
If you want Infinity, whatever, it's still way better than stock but get an amp for your upgrade.
WTF WITH ALL THE HUGE SIGS??????

There are only a handful of dealers in my area. A couple of years ago, I just got lucky and stepped into a shop that happens to sell them and I was so overwhelmed by how good they are.
I can't say enough good things about Diamond Audio.

Why did you choose to have the kappa perfects in the rear instead of the front?

In my previous two cars I had, I went with Boston Rally's 6 1/2" w/ tweeters front. 6x9" 2way speakers but they don't make Rallys anymore. My oppion they sounded amazing but no lows. Two 12" Rockford Fosgate XLC Punch in a MDF sub-zero box took care of the bass.

I'm gonna go with the same setup in the TuRD but with 4 Boston SL 6x9" and might go with a different sub amp. I've blown my rockford amp twice but it's really simple and cheap to fix... as well as delivering the right ammount of power to my subs.

Okay, so I did a little research and here is what I've come up with:

As stated above, I will be running the Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.1 in the front and the 693.7i in the rear. I will be powering the speakers with Infinity Reference 475A 4-channel amp.

My question now is, what gauge wires do I need to power everything up?
