3.5 speakers in dash???

Has anybody tried to mount a set of 3.5 speakers in the factory speaker holes in the dash? If so, were you successful?

I was cleaning out some stuff and found a set of Infinity Reference Series 3.5 2-way speakers that i had bought for my last car, and never put in.

I'm sure that with some grinding you could make it work, it'll take some effort though.

might not work, since the grille is flush against the opening in the dash along with the grille cover thing only having mesh on maybe a 2" diameter??

Good luck - you'll need a new screen/cover for the new speakers.
