it fit with no problem. i used 0.75 inch mdf. the reason i used such a thick piece is because i was origionally going to use the set of kenwood 6x9's that i have. after cutting a bracket for the 6x9's i found that they were still too deep and hit the window when it was down.

Front door speaker wiring

Did you use the stock speaker wiring or pull new ones through the boot? I will be changing out my front speakers this weekend and was curious how you went about wiring.

the wiring probably needs to be cut, Does anyone know which is positive is it the Pink wire ?
