I love this thing! It sounds so much better than that stock p.o.s. Next will be 8" sub-woofers under the seats.

Nice....i agree the stock system is complete crap. JBL or not.... I just did a deck in a gen2 today...it was a pioneer Avic Z1...very nice head unit.

Nah. I took advantage of the free installation with purchase from Circuit City.

i would suggest not doing the 8s under the seats. anything gets messed up under there ( harness, sensors going nuts) it will cost an arm and a leg.

happened to me when i was taking out my cd changer and moved some wires. the passenger sensor went off and cost about 500 for them to repair! if they couldnt repair, the seat would need to be replaced which would be 4k ( good guy price) too.

thats my two cents. but great radio and crank up the tunes!

What sensors are you talking about? The one that says there's a passenger in the seat but one seatbelt?

yes. i ended up shorting out a harness which was connected to the weight sensors that detect people.
Alpine + Dynaudio = Sonic bliss.
