Compared to the stock tweeters, I can actually tell that they're there. xD And I think I did a pretty clean install.

^ Yeah, that looks very clean. What was the difference in size between the old and new?

Why didnt you just put it into where the stock one was instead of drilling a hole for it?

The stock tweeters were 2 1/2". These are 7/8". The stock tweeters also had a mounting bracket. I didn't feel like trying to make a bracket and make it even more of a pain trying to work in that cramped up space against the windshield. Also didn't have a drill. Used a butane lighter and a knife when I got closer to the edge. lol :onfire:

And some door tweeter set-ups do look good, but not this combo.

No that's the parking lot in front of my dorms on base. Like 15 guys living in the dorms have bikes.

i drilled holes for mine in the same spot, you would have to Fab a bracket to put them inside and there really is no room to work with

How do you get to taking off the cover for the tweeters?Do you have to take the whole dash off?

^^^^I heard they just pop off, but I'm quite sure it doesn't require removing the whole dash. The door and rear deck speakers are another story....

could have saved he factory grille by bending a piece of backstrap to make a custom mount for your tweet. then mount the tweet on top

To take the cover off, just take a flathead screwdriver with tape on it and pry it up. And just a heads up, for rewiring, it's easier to drop th new speakers' wires down beneath the dash. Practically NO room against the windshield even if you pull the stock wiring all the way up, in doing so you also risk pulling the wire apart cause partway down it's just taped and wrapped to another section of wiring.
