your thread is very confusing because you called them corner bulbs. should of just stick with "front signal light bulb". it makes more sense.

^ no it's not everyone calls the side marker lights, corner bulbs, or signal bulbs, either or. doesnt really matter.
where many hate, few will love,
But for those who love,
they'll see what it's like to live.

LED Failure

Postby yar02169 » Tue Apr 17, 2007 12:25 pm

I got some LED brake/tail lights a couple months back, and quickly returned them. The bulbs are actually installed into the side of the tail-light housing, and not from the back. This aligns the LED light path out to the sides of the car, and not back towards the car behind you. The tail-light was illuminated, but not bright at all. When the brake was pressed, it is barely visible that the brakes are on. You can expect to be rear-ended and have the car behind you state that you have no brake lights, they are that bad.
Maybe in the future the LED replacements will work better, but at this time it's just a waste of time installing them.
I do have LED's on my plate, and that looks ok.

Buy them again. If they are the cheapos, and dont have a cover over the actual LED's, just take a dremel, and saw the tops of them so they are flat, instead of round. It will disperse the the light exactly where you want it!

Hope that helps!
