Another BEAUTIFUL job. This looks GREAT! I would never had the guts to try this myself unless I already had another set of headlights on hand in case I messed up.

Just a thought... I don't know what the market would be, but you may want to consider making and selling these. For folks who live in States with "inspection issues", they may want to have 2 sets of lights (one cleared and the other stock) and just pop in the stock set when it comes time to pass inspection.

How are they fake. Is everything I do here scrutinized? I swear they aren't fake. Unless you want to come down to my own apartment and see the for yourself. They are not fake. It took me the entire day to do it. I followed Mike's directions. You've got to be kidding me. Look at my pics closely and you'll see the slots where the reflectors were. Honestly that is very childish to accuse me of something like that.

I'm pretty sure it'd look nice but I don't think I'm all that willing to go above and beyond with painting it. Maybe in the future when I decide to get another set of headlights. I've never painted chrome before. Is it possible even? Black and Chrome is the only way to go man.

Wow...props to both Mike and TS04.
How much time should I set aside for this project? I want to plan accordingly.

1. You have to remove the front bumper. Approx. 20-30 minutes.

2. Remove L & R headlight. Approx. 5-10 minutes to remove both.

3. Depends on which method you choose for heating the headlight. I used a blow drier because I didn't have an extra set of headlight to stick in the oven. YOU HAVE TO HEAT IT UP...it's not like the Gen 1. About 20 minutes per headlight. So 40 minutes for both.

4. Reinstall the L & R headlight back to the car. 5-10 minutes for both.

5. Put the bumper back in place. 20-30 minutes. Some how I always have an extra screw left and have no idea it goes...lol.

Approx. 2 hours.

I used a hand ratchet and socket. If you have power tools, it'll be much faster, I'm thinking you could probably do it in about an hour.

Good luck...haha. Tell me if your fingers hurt afterwards....lol

BTW...don't tear anything up by trying to rush it. You will pay for it in the end. Take your time and be careful. Thank goodness I didn't have any misfortune with mine.
